hy|save™ Tour
The hy|save Refrigeration Difference
ented hy|save refrigeration technology provides the most diverse means currently available for increasing system efficiency-- the key to reducing electrical energy consumption and keeping operating costs in line.
The formation of vapour or "flash gas" in the liquid refrigerant line is a major cause of inefficiency in the refrigeration cycle. Traditional cooling systems counteract flash gas formation by using elevated head pressures, which can prove costly in terms of energy use, operating efficiencies and maintenance and repair downtime.
The hy|save refrigeration system employs a specially designed liquid refrigerant pump installed in the liquid line between the outlet of the condenser and the expansion valve. Pumping liquid refrigerant is significantly more efficient than using elevated compressor head pressures. Pump pressure subcools the refrigerant by increasing pressure in the liquid line, which helps ensure that quality liquid refrigerant will reach the expansion valve.
The compressor no longer needs to work hard to maintain design head pressures which can now be "floated" with the ambient air temperature.
